The charity is going through some behind the scenes changes in the moment. So there are no major fund raising activities currently being planned. However, that doesn't mean you can't get involved and do your own. Feel free to contact us to explore ideas and put something into motion.

If you are able to help with a regular standing order donation see our Donation page for a standing order mandate form.

Charity Aims

Swami Nitya’s Children’s Project aims to prevent or relieve the poverty of children and young adults, who have association to the Himalayan Tradition in India, by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare needs and other necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be supported into adulthood.

Swami Nitya’s Children

In March 2009 Swami Nitya started to raise funds and awareness of the plight of two children in a remote village in India.  Their father was a student at SRSG and his request for help in realising the dream of a good education for his son touched the hearts of many donors.  Swami’s project has grown, as the plight of other families has come to her awareness she has pledged to help others.  Swami Nitya is now supporting nine children of various ages, ensuring they have funding for education, uniforms, books, transportation to school and healthcare.
